Vintage Lot 53 Wood Walnut Mahogany Staircase Salvaged Spindles Balusters 29"

Description

Offering a lot of 53 old and authentic wood balusters fresh from an old home here in Maine. They are 2 by 2 inches at the square ends. There is one lot of 27 that are 31 inches long overall. These are 29 1/4 inches long not including the dovetail. The square ends are 5 3/8" on one end and 3 1/2 inches on the other end. There is a lot of 8 that have an angle cut on one end that are 31" long overall including the dovetail. There is another lot of 7 with an angle cut on one end that measure 28 inches long overall including the dovetail. There is another lot of 11  with a slant cut on one end that vary from 28 to 31 inches long overall. The photos show the four different lots just described.  They appear to be mahogany but we can not be sure, could be walnut. Not a softwood for sure. They are generally in nice solid undamaged condition with wear on the finish.  Offered as a lot as is and as described and as shown in the photos.  Ships as an 80 pound package.
Note:  The photos were taken with filtered sunlight coming through the trees in our yard which makes the finish appear to be streaked light to dark. This is not the case, the finish is a mostly uniform color.
