    Description

    Vintage 50s/60s blue and white enamel painted steel signal post/hash mark mile marker for
    Milwaukee Road (Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad)
    .  This was attached to a signal and displayed the milepost of where the signal is located.  Boasts a white painted slightly raised ”-“ (hash Mark) over a navy blue background painted on a steel plate.  Retains vintage label which gives provenance and identifies the Railroad, reads:
    Milwaukee Road, One, 1 of 3 # posts, July 1966
    .  A great piece of Milwaukee Road history that displays handsomely.
