    Description

Offered for your consideration is this great Victorian quarter sawed oak newel post with the balusters/spindles and hand rail.
This all was removed from a beautiful Victorian home that was torn down to make place for a new ranch house.
The newel post, some of the balusters and a section of the hand rail have already been stripped. The rest has the paint remaining.
The newel post has a piece of the beaded decoration missing. There may have been a small finial or maybe a newel post light on top? Please see photos.
The photos show the number of each of the four different styes of spindles, how many are stripped and how many have an angle or square top.
All of the pieces are located at my shop Sedge Meadow Antiques in Harvard Illinois and can be viewed prior to purchasing if desired. I have list this as local pick up only but I would be happy to work with your own shipper. Shippers that have picked up from here include Plycon, UShip and McLain Brothers Shipping out of Rockford.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks
