This unique small .25" deep, 2.5" curved corner square art object was part of a large Victorian dinner service, but now alone. . . and quite charming!
High style Victorian Aesthetic Movement Design, decorated in medium, light black/gray with a light- profuse design of naturalistic blossoms, vines, ferns, tendrils, bell flowers and a very detailed flying bee in spilling" japonesque manner as if laid upon face!
Queen Victoria, honored by this design, loved nature and the great outdoors, all creatures and objects!
Condition: Used original antique excellent with no cracks, chips, discoloration, stain or restoration. From period less than perfect normal manufacture, pictured interior firing flaw, tiny pits and "bumps" to texture, potter's marks to face & under side.
Delightful early Victorian antique work of ceramic art for table use today or wonderful wall - Dining Room chair rail, shelf or cabinet display!
