UNIQUE VICTROLA RECORD PLAYER ARCHETECTURE TOP TO OLD OAK BANNISTER. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class. AMAZINGLY ENOUGH A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS AN EXPERT AT RADIOS AND CYLINDERS AND VICTROLA KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THIS WAS . FIRST OFF HE SAID IT IS A PIECE MADE OAK , BRASS AND THE HORN IS PAINTED ALUMINUM. THEY PUT THIS IN OKD MUSIC HALLS OR HISTORICAL PERFORMING ARTS VENUES. IT REPLACED THE LARGE BALLS OF OAK THAT RESTED ON THE THR FIRST COLOMN OF THE STAIRCASE USUALLY LEADING UPWARDS TO THE MEZZANINE. IT WOUKD HAVE HAD A BRASS PLAQUE ATTACHED TO IT EXPLAINING THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EITHER A PLACE OR PERSON . AS YOU CAN SEE ON MY PICTURES THERE WAS IN FACT A PLAQUE. A PLACE SCREWS GO TO MOUNT THIS AWESOME PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE. 14 INCHES TALL 12 INCHES WIDE AND 11 INCHES DEEP. AND VERY RARE AND THEY DO NOT OFTEN OFFER THEM FOR SALE. REASONABLE OFFERS ALWAYS CONSIDERED THANKS TO ADD THIS IS ANTIQE! AND IS NO IMITATION Has no working parts though it does move to and fro THE HORN DOES DETACH FROM THE BRASS ARM. THE BOTTOM OF THE PIECE IS SOLD OAK IF YOU LOOK CLOSER YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE WHERE THE PLAQUE WAS MOUNTED AND A SMLL SCREW HOLE.
