Long Island Rail Road Plates (4). Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Up for auction are 4 Long Island Rail Road Plates.
(1) Brake Cylinder Plate made out of stainless steel measuring about 12 1/2” L x 4” W x .062 in thickness weighing about 13.8 oz.  Front of plate has a protective film on it that is missing in some spots.  Back of plate has YB 6061 written in felt marker and some discoloring.  Both sides of plate has scratches, nicks, dings, etc.  Plate lays flat.
(1) Budd Company Plate made of stainless steel measuring about 7” L x 3 5/8” W x .072 in thickness and weighing about 8.3 oz.  Both sides of plate has a mirror finish with scratches, dings, nicks, etc.  Plate lays flat.  Chiesel marks around bolt holes suggest plate was mounted to a passenger car.
(1) Long Island RR Owners Plate made out of stainless steel measuring about 6 1/4” L x 1 1/2” W x .062 in thickness weighing about 2.5 oz.  Front of plate has a protective film on it.  Plate has mirror finishes, scratches, nicks, dings,etc. on both sides.  Plate lays flat.
(1) LIRR Oval Plate made out of aluminum measuring about 4” L x 2” W x .032 in thickness on raised surfaces and weighs about 0.3 oz.  Plate has some scratches, nicks, dings etc. on both sides.  No numbers or letter stamped on front of plate (unused).  Plate lays flat.
