Offered for sale is a vintage
Unused "Made At Cumberland" Builder's plate that comes from the B&O Museum Warehouse
, so was likely made for equipment they built long ago, but was never used.  The B&O Museum recently had a sale to the public of of excess inventory.
The mounting holes were never drilled out and there is a light surface rust from many years sitting around.  Likely made is their shop foundry.
I can only surmise that this was for equipment made in Western Cumberland MD, but never mounted.  There are 2 small rectangles in the center that were likely used to identify the piece equipment.
Shipping
-will ship with care, in a sturdy box with foam padding, via cheapest way usps priority mail.  Ship weight boxed is about 5 lbs.
