    Description

    Antique Victorian Fluted Newel Post with Finial - Circa 1890 Quartersawn Architectural Salvage. The overall dimensions are 6" x 6" x 69" tall, the main body is 5" x 5" and from the stair cut-out to the top is 36". This is a very nice and complete quartersawn oak newel post with a fluted body, egg and dart detail and an ornate finial on the bottom. This newel post has the original shellac (varnish) finish with an absolutely beautiful aged patina. This newel post is ready for installation!
    This is in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and are ready for display, use or your restoration. Please refer to the pictures and feel free to email with any questions.
