Antique Chinese pewter and porcelain rectangular tray or possibly brushwasher. Porcelain plaque is decorated in wucai or Famille verte palette, with two child figures. Pewter is heavily marked on the base. When we posted this in an online forum, we received this response: “Beautiful and authentic, early Qing dynasty’s 杭州Hangzhou famous pewter workshop 鄭寶泰Zheng BaoTai made. Below is the recent Japanese auction similar item which was far below the beauty of your Wu Cai dish.” We don’t know the actual age of this item, and do not guarantee it to be of a certain age. We will not accept a return if it is determined to be newer.
Pewter is warped and dented. Please zoom in and study all photos, they are part of the description. Tray is approximately 4 3/8” wide by 3 3/16” tall by 11/16” high (height varies). Wood display stand not included.
