    Description

    This plate or platter is a significant and popular design
    by Gorham of Rhode Island. The plate was issued first
    In 1890, then later at the 1893 Columbia Exposition.
    The highly detailed design with a flower border is
    a true work of art which can not be duplicated today.
    The plate is 10 inches wide and stands about 3/4 of
    an inch tall. No dings or dents, there may be a tiny nick
    in the bowl which is difficult to find and is minute. Other
    than scratches, there are no wear points to the plate.
    The plate weighs 357 grams or 11.48 ozt. The plate
    is hallmarked by Gorham-Sterling and ‘Marie Antoinette’.
    This beautiful treasure could be the centerpiece to your
    next holiday table or collection. Sensational condition.
